Dennis is blind due
to a diabetic glaucoma; he is also hypertensive. Dennis, his wife Olga,
and their 3 children struggle against hunger. They live in a
dirt-floored shelter with leaking and rusted zinc roofing sheets, that
are held by stones. This family lives in a far underpopulated area, with landslide risk that would further isolate them. His wife can't get a job nearby, and she wouldn't leave him alone looking after the kids. Since they have no electricity, wood cooking is necessary and smoke inhalation has caused them irreversible health damage.
